Luis Enrique has set the resumption of training for July 15 and several French U19 champions are expected in the pro group. Several other young people will also be present at the resumption.

D-17 before PSG resumes training. While many internationals will be on vacation on July 15 after their participation in Euro 2024 and the Copa América (the finals of both competitions take place on July 14), there should still be a lot of people at the PSG Campus for the resumption in mid-July.

According to insider @Djameel_, two young players recently crowned French U19 champions with Zoumana Camara’s PSG have been called up by Luis Enrique for the restart. They are central defender Joane Gadou (2007), regularly training with the pros last season, and… Ibrahim Mbaye (2008), author of a very good season with the U19s.

Captain of PSG’s U19s and already appeared five times in Ligue 1 last season, Yoram Zag (2006) will also be back in training, just like Ayman Kari (2004), who returns from an 18-month loan to Lorient and on whom the staff seems to count, and Ismaël Gharbi (2004), who is coming off an interesting loan at Stade-Lausanne in Switzerland, but whose future is more unclear one year from the end of his contract.

In addition to these five young players, Brazilian defensive midfielder Gabriel Moscardo (2005) is also expected at the restart. His loan expires on June 30 and will not be extended. He has not played a single minute in the last three Corinthians matches, even though he was present on the bench.

Mayulu prepares for the Euro U19 with the Bleuets

And Senny Mayulu ? Appearing 8 times in Ligue 1 last season (plus 2 times in the Coupe de France), the attacking midfielder born in 2006 is one of the 30 players pre-selected by Bernard Diomède in the French U19 team to play in the U19 Euro on 15 to July 28 in Northern Ireland (like Ethan Mbappé, who left PSG).

Mayulu has been preparing for the competition since June 21st in Clairefontaine and this preparation will stretch until Saturday July 13th, when Diomède will have to keep only 20 players (and therefore release 10). The French U19s will play two friendly matches on Friday July 5th and Friday July 12th before facing Turkey (July 16th), Denmark (July 19th) and Spain (July 22nd) in Group B of the Euro U19.

Even if Diomède does not retain him for the Euro U19, Mayulu will need a vacation this summer and it seems unlikely that he will be at the PSG Campus on July 15, just two days after the end of his selection preparation. Especially since he joined Clairefontaine on June 21, just five days after the final of the French U19 championship during which he scored a double.

What about Ndour, Lemina and Housni?

Note that several other young players under professional contract at PSG are expected to return to Paris this summer when their loan expires: Cher Ndour (2004, Braga, midfielder), who played in the Maurice Revello tournament (Toulon) at the beginning of June with Italy, Noha Lemina (2005, Wolverhampton, ailier), Ilyes Housni (2005, Al Sadd, striker) and Lucas The valley (2003, Dunkirk, goalkeeper). It will be interesting to see if they will be present at the restart on July 15.
