Enzo Maresca would like to recruit one of his former players to Leicester

Chelsea Blues are said to have a name in mind for their first signing of the summer. The player is part of the Championship champions’ squad.

Chelsea continues to advance its pawns on the transfer market. After the departure of Ian Maatsen for Aston Villa, and the arrival of Tosin Adarabiyo in particular, the Blues could strengthen in midfield.

Fabrizio Romano reveals that Chelsea bosses are interested in Leicester’s Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall. Enzo Maresca, the new Chelsea manager, had him under his command last season and knows the player inside out.

Dewsbury-Hall is a 25-year-old attacking midfielder. In 44 Championship matches he scored 12 goals and provided 14 assists while essentially playing number 8.

The Englishman is today valued at 30 million euros per Transfer market. Chelsea would like to include Cesare Casadei (midfielder) and David Datro Fofana (forward) in the balance. Both are young and have just returned from loan. It remains to be seen whether these profiles appeal to the Foxes who are making their return to the Premier League after a year in the English second division.
