AS Saint-Etienne and the Girondins de Bordeaux jointly salute this Thursday the memory of Landry Nguemo, who died at the age of only 38.

He is a well-known player of League 1a championship in which he played no less than 208 matches between 2005 and 2015, who died this Thursday. At only 38 years old. Landry Nguemo succumbed to his injuries following a terrible road accident in the region of Yaoundé, the Cameroonian capital.

The Indomitable Lion with 42 caps (for three goals) will have left his mark on the three French clubs whose colours he defended: AS Nancy-Lorraine (2005-2011 with a one-year loan spell at Celtic Glasgow), Girondins de Bordeaux (2011-2014) and AS Saint-Etienne (2014-2015).
