This Tuesday, Tanzania beat Guinea with a score of 1 goal 0. A defeat which officially eliminates Guinea from the next CAN 2025 in Morocco.
» The disappointment is immense. Not seeing Guinea at CAN 2025 is a pain for us, players, and for an entire people who live and breathe football. We, the Players, are primarily responsible. I personally want to apologize to the Guinean people. We have failed in our mission.
We gave everything on the pitch, but sometimes the obstacles are greater than our efforts. Playing all our qualifying matches away, for example, was a real handicap, an unfair test for our team and our supporters.
