The health problems of Columbus Blue Jackets prospect Cayden Lindstrom continue to be talked about.

The fourth overall pick in the last National Hockey League (NHL) draft underwent minor back surgery Tuesday due to a hernia, according to team general manager Don Waddell. .
Lindstrom will have to remain on rest for at least 30 days, but should be 100% recovered from his surgery before the end of this season.
The 18-year-old has still not played any matches in 2024-2025 due to back problems that he has been dealing with for several months. Resting since the summer to let her hernia heal on its own, Lindstrom and her clan finally decided to have a discectomy to speed up the process.
Last season, he was limited to 32 games with the Medicine Hat Tigers in the Western Junior Hockey League (WHL), still collecting 27 goals and 46 points.
