Paris Saint-Germain is more than ever in the game to enlist the new nugget of Portuguese football João Neves. The young prodigy from Benfica Lisbon would have even given his agreement to play under the Parisian colors during this 2024-2025 financial year.
Still determined to offer the young Portuguese in the transfer window, PSG even made a first offer of 70 million euros plus 10 in bonuses. Offer refused by the Lisbonites who are demanding nearly 120 million euros to sell the 19-year-old midfielder. Faced with this refusal, PSG is considering including certain players in the agreement to try to tip the scales in their favor. Potential options include Manuel Ugarte, Carlos Soler or Renato Sanches.
The Parisian club hopes to reach a compromise acceptable to both parties.
