A total of 32 new local fields have been added to strengthen sports infrastructure in the city of Casablanca during the year 2024.
These new sports venues, with a total cost of 257.60 million dirhams, will be open to young and old in a few weeks, indicates a source close to the matter.
These achievements are part of a partnership agreement signed in December 2023, under the aegis of the Ministry of National Education, Preschool and Sports, with Casablanca Events and Animation as delegated project owner.
This agreement provides for the creation of 223 local sites in the Casablanca-Settat region over the period 2024-2025 and the redevelopment of 74 others already existing, we recall. And to specify that the new lands are distributed in the district prefectures of Ben M’sik (3), Al Fida Mers Sultan (2), Ain Chock (4), Anfa (4), Ain Sebaa-Hay Mohammadi (3) , Moulay Rachid (5), Hay Hassani (4) and Sidi Bernoussi (7).
These local pitches have specifications that meet FIFA quality pro standards: synthetic turf, night lighting, security, etc.
