The Moroccan champion, Raja Casablanca, was manhandled by the club relegated to the second division, Mouloudia Oujda, before obtaining salvation during extra time in a spectacular match.

Raja Casablanca qualified with difficulty for the final of the Football Throne Cup (2022-2023 season) by beating Mouloudia Oujda with a score of 4 goals to 3 after extra time, in the semi-final played Tuesday at the Grand stadium of Agadir.
Naoufel Zarhouni (20th, 30th) and Riad Benayad (90+19th, 90+30th) scored the goals for Raja Casablanca, while Youssef Anouar (9th, 90+8th sp) and Chouaib Faidi (70th) scored the goals for Mouloudia Oujda.
The “Green and White” join AS FAR in the final, winner on Sunday against Maghreb Fez (2-0).
Raja Casablanca reached the semi-finals after beating Hassania Agadir (4-2), while the Oriental team reached this stage of the competition at the expense of Olympique Khouribga (1-0).
The semi-finals of the 67th edition of the Coupe du Trône kept all their promises, taking into account the results of the four protagonists with a total of 28 titles, including 12 for AS FAR, the most successful team, 8 for Raja Casablanca (3rd), while Maghreb Fez and Mouloudia Oujda each have 4 titles (6th, tied).
