From Paris Saint-Germain, finalist of the last D1 Arkéma and winner of the Coupe de France, to the English second division, there is only one step for Jocelyn Prêcheur. Indeed, the 42-year-old former Parisian coach was appointed coach of the English second division club, London City Lionesses FC.

A club which was bought in December 2023 by American businesswoman Michele Kang, already owner of the Washington Spirit NWSL franchise and who earlier in the year acquired the women’s Olympique Lyonnais. “I have every confidence in Jocelyn’s ability to lead the London City Lionesses to new heights in the Barclays Women’s Championship this season, for both the players and the fans,” declared the boss of OL.

For his part, the son of Gérard Prêcheur declared in a press release: “Since meeting Michele last season, I have admired her vision and dedication to women’s football. The culture of performance that it puts in place within its teams played a determining role in my decision to join London City. I can’t wait to start next week and meet the players and team staff. »

Prêcheur will be able to meet the new recruit of the club based in Dartford, 25 km from the center of London, the Swedish Kosovare Asllani (175 caps, 44 goals) who has played for PSG, Manchester City, Real Madrid and even AC Milan.
