We suspected it was coming, but it’s done.
The Canadian gave away Rafaël Harvey-Pinard to the Laval Rocket for conditioning purposes. He will therefore play a few games down there before returning to the NHL afterwards.
This is what the club has just announced.
He will therefore have the chance to find his rhythm at the lower level, as is often seen in baseball. And after a few matches, he will necessarily be recalled by the Canadian.
Remember that it was due to a broken leg that the Quebecer missed the first weeks of the season. He underwent surgery before the club’s training camp.
But there, he is healthy.
The Rocket play tomorrow night at home (against Rochester) and have a back-to-back Friday and Saturday against Belleville. Friday’s game will be in Quebec and Saturday’s game will be on the road.
Will he play two or three of these matches and that’s it? Obviously, the answer is yes. After all, for a long-term injured player, that’s a maximum of six days and three games in the AHL.
And in the next six days, there are only these matches on the schedule below.
Remember that CH will not play any more this week and that on Saturday, the Golden Knights will be in town. I have a feeling RHP will only be an option next week and not for the Vegas game.
But we’ll see in due time.

– Oh yes?
– It’s early, indeed.
