Last night, Connor McDavid didn’t look very good against the Canadian. At least, that’s the case when we see that his club has been cleared… and that by force of circumstances, he too has been.
But at certain times, he was still true to himself by making plays that only he has the secret to.
During the game, McDavid notably circled the offensive zone. And even if we see frustration at the end of the sequence, he still did something that many people cannot do with the puck.
As we can see, the nhl.discussion account posted the video mentioning that McDavid was DANCING on Monday night. The account suggested people watch the game on Prime, while adding that McDavid had bypassed Caufield.
Why was CH #13 isolated like this? Good question. After all, two other players failed to slow him down, including a defender: Lane Hutson.
But obviously, on a night where McDavid did nothing in terms of points, Caufield didn’t take kindly to being isolated like that. So he responded to the video a few hours later (after the match, obviously) by putting a emoji of peace.
It says what it should say.
Even if McJesus has more points than Caufield this season (21 against 16), the fact remains that with only seven goals, the Oilers captain has five fewer than Cole’s 12.
That’s a marked difference. And maybe that’s why the Canadian player didn’t take notice of the comment about him on the Instagram page, after his match.
I really have the impression that on Instagram, the account manager decided to hype the NHL by showing that McDavid is capable of getting around a star. It’s okay to do so.
But it’s also okay to talk back.
