. After 2024, 10 DPW players move to the PGA in 2025, what will become of the European Tour?

At the end of 2023, ten DPW Tour players obtained playing rights on the PGA Tour US:
Adrian Meronk (Pol) – Ryan Fox (Nzl) – Victor Perez (Fra) – Thorbjorn Olesen (Dan) – Alexander Björk (Sue) – Sami Välimäki (Fin) – Robert MacIntyre (Eco) – Matthieu Pavon (Fra) – Jorge Campillo (Esp)- Ryo Hisatsune (Jpn) .

One year later, six players retain their playing rights on the US circuit: Macintyre – Pavon – Perez – Hisatsune – Väimäki – Fox .

The other players get a conditional card. (Adrian Meronk played in 2024 on the DPW).

20 top players have left Europe

At the end of 2024, ten other players will move to the West: Rasmus Hojgaard (Dan), Thriston Lawrence (Rsa), Paul Waring (Ang), Jesper Swensson (Sue), Niklas Norgaard (Dan), Matteo Manassero (Ita), Thorbjorn Olesen (Dan), Antoine Rozner (Fra), Rikuya Hoshino (Jap), Tom Mckibbin (Nir) .

If we take into account the 10 2023 players and the 10 2024 players, we have 20 fewer high-level players on the European Tour, what can we do in the future?

Are we moving towards a 1st world division (US), a second division (Europe), a 3e (Challenge)? …. We of course don’t have the answer, not to mention that talks between the LIV and the PGA are still ongoing.

The fact remains that in 2025, three French people ( Pavon, Perez, Rozner ) will evolve on the US Tour with complete maps and two others ( Barjon et Trainer ) with presumably conditional maps.
