After only one season with PSG, Manuel Ugarte is already on his way out. The Uruguayan midfielder made a promising start to the season in a number six role before losing pace and falling down Luis Enrique’s hierarchy. However, the former Sporting Portugal player has good odds on the transfer market.
Manuel Ugarte attracts interest all over Europe
Manchester United is notably on the file and has already sent a first offer to PSG. But other European clubs are on board. The English journalist, Ben Jacobs, also tells us that Bayern Munich is also following the Uruguayan midfielder. Italian clubs are also interested. Note that another English club than Manchester United has been in contact with PSG.
This file promises to punctuate the summer transfer window in Paris, which, as a reminder, bought Manuel Ugarte last summer for 60 million euros. Despite the names of the clubs interested, it today seems difficult to imagine Bayern Munich or Manchester United offering an equivalent sum for a player to be revived.
