As usual, OM will present a new face next season.

Olympique de Marseille is very active on the transfer market this summer. The Marseille club was not waiting for June 10 and the opening of the summer transfer window to take action. It’s now done and OM have even already found their coach and are now focused on the positions to strengthen in their squad. Therefore, a lot of things will change in the Marseille city next season.

Around ten recruits expected at OM this summer

OM had accustomed us to making huge changes every summer since the arrival of Pablo Longoria. Which will not be missing this year either with the officialization of Roberto De Zerbi. The Marseille club announced on Monday that it had reached an agreement with the Italian technician. Long before, the former Brighton coach had already started working on the transfer window and should be joined in the coming weeks by… around ten reinforcements.

According to La Provence, Olympique de Marseille should welcome other recruits in addition to those already announced. The Olympian club is notably following in the footsteps of players like Lillian Brassier, Bachir Belloumi, Yankuba-Minteh, Tanguy Ndombele, Manuel Locatelli and Andrea Colpani.

OM cleans up

Lillian Brassier should be the first signing of the De Zerbi era. The Brest defender has already reached an agreement with OM and should be made official in the coming days. To make room for its many targets and thus reduce its payroll, the Provençal club has already started by cleaning up its workforce. It is in this context that Vitinha was sold to Genoa for a check worth 20 million euros.

After the Portuguese center forward, Illiman Ndiaye is also about to join Everton. OM have also decided to do without Samuel Gigot and have already reached an agreement with Trabzonspor despite the French defender’s refusal to leave. In addition to the latter, La Provence indicates Jordan Veretout, Geoffrey Kondogbia and even Ismaila Sarr would be called upon to look elsewhere.
