Wojciech Szczesny came out of retirement at the beginning of October to help FC Barcelona. The Catalan club had just lost its starting goalkeeper, Marc-André ter Stegen, for many months, after a “complete rupture of the patellar tendon of the right knee”. Since then, the 34-year-old Polish goalkeeper has not played a single minute of play, blocked by Iñaki Peña (25 years old). He had even explained, to Eleven Sports : “If I were in the coach’s place, I wouldn’t get played either. I will have the opportunity to play later. At the moment, the team is working very well, that’s the most important thing. »
