First of all, it is on the website of the Vendée Globe that the general public can now follow the journey of the 40 adventurers of the seas : mapping, classification (updated six times a day at 3 a.m., 7 a.m., 11 a.m., 3 p.m., 7 p.m. and 11 p.m.), continuous news, etc.
But also and above all, the public has meeting every day at 12:30 p.m.on the Place du Vendée Globe, on the TV set installed opposite the race PC, for the Vendée Live.
A 30 minute show during which one or more skippers (depending on racing conditions) are contacted directly. Of the vacations which allow you to get news and communicate with browsers.
An analysis of the race
In addition to the sessions with the skippers, Vendée Live offers a summary of the latest racing events, videos filmed on board by the skippers, an analysis of the Imoca tracks but also a weather update for the coming hours or even a deciphering the options taken by the skippers by race consultant Xavier Macaire.
Please note that the public can therefore attend Vendée Live on site but that the latter is also broadcast live on the website of the Vendée Globe, on its YouTube channel and that it is relayed on Facebook.
And then, for English speakers, Vendée Live is also in English. A second meeting is offered daily at 2:30 p.m. Again in public or to follow on the internet.
