Freely recruited by PSG during the 2023 summer transfer window, Milan Skriniar will not necessarily be retained in the event of a good offer this summer. And the Slovak central defender, who initially showed his desire to continue the adventure at PSG next season, finally opens the door to a return… to Italy!

After trying to transfer Milan Skriniar coming from theInter Milan during the summer of 2022, the PSG had finally had to wait until the Slovakian defender reached the end of his contract, a year later, to attract him to the Parc des Princes on a free transfer. Skriniar had started the 2023-2024 season as an indisputable starter, but he was then sidelined by an injury and never managed to find his best level with PSG. There is even talk of a possible sale of the Slovak international this summer in the event of an offer deemed satisfactory.

Skriniar took a stand for his future

On June 6, in an interview given to THE TEAM, Milan Skriniar firmly responded to the rumors by assuring that he would always be at PSG next season, with a contract that runs until 2028: “ I want to stay in Paris of course, I still have four years of contract. I am very happy, my family too. If I hadn’t gotten injured, we would be talking about my season differently. Nobody told me anything at the club about a possible departure », indicated the Slovak central defender. And yet…

Ok for a return to Italy?

Interviewed on Sunday by Sportitalia while he is currently playing Euro 2024 with his national team, Skriniar this time mentioned the possibility of a return to Serie A. And he seems open to this destination: “ Never say never…No one can say », Confided the defender of PSGwhich has therefore perhaps revised its position regarding its future.
