MAXIME ROUILLER BACK TO THE MUNICIPAL!

Yverdon Sport has secured the services of young goalkeeper Maxime Rouiller (18 years old) for the 24/25 season. Trained at YS, he then left to train at Team Vaud, playing last season in 1L with the U21s.

It’s a return to basics for Maxime Rouiller. Born in Yverdon-les-Bains, the young Vaudois goalkeeper took his first lessons in the region, in Champagne, before joining the Yverdon Sport U13s. Quickly upgraded, he played at the Municipal Stadium until the M15 before joining Lausanne and the rest of the sector. His excellent progress and talent have brought him to 1L with Team Vaud (14 matches last year at only 18 years old). He is now back at Yverdon Sport, who will continue to get tougher alongside the two experienced goalkeepers, Paul Bernardoni and Kevin Martin.

Alessandro Mangiarratti and his staff are therefore holding their trio to tackle the 24/25 Super League season. Maxime Rouiller will train daily with the professionals and will play on weekends in 1L, with the reserve team, to get playing time and continue his development.

Yverdon Sport is proud to find this promising element in its ranks. “ It’s a homecoming for me », rejoices Maxime Rouiller.

We wish him every success for this new challenge, at home, here in Yverdon!
