Fowler loses his temper, hits a player, is suspended

Boston College goalie and Canadian prospect Jacob Fowler didn’t show his best side Friday night in his team’s 5-4 loss to the University of Connecticut.

While Boston College was in complete disarray in the second period, Fowler lost his temper and punched an opponent, Tristan Fraser, in the face who had just scored against him while colliding with him.

The 19-year-old goalkeeper, CH’s third-round pick in the 2023 draft, was ejected from the match.

Boston College thus suffered a first defeat after having scored six victories.

This blunder by Fowler, who will be suspended for one match because of his actions, in no way overshadows the remarkable season he is having so far.
