François-Xavier Fumu Tamuzo will not win his case. The judicial court rejected the requests of the player and his lawyers. The former AJ wanted to establish a cause between the Covid vaccine and his repeated injuries from 2021 to 2023. He will appeal.

The truth still eludes François-Xavier Fumu Tamuzo. Since April 2024, the former AJ Auxerre footballer has been on trial against Pfizer laboratories (Pfizer Germany as vaccine designer and Pfizer-France as supplier), BioNTech and the French Federation.

The ex-midfielder wanted to establish a link between the Covid vaccine and his repeated injuries from 2021 to 2023.

The Paris judicial court delivered its deliberations on November 8. At the end of the debates, the court rejected the request for expertise and the request for payment requested by François-Xavier Fumu Tamuzo and his lawyers.

The court considered that the player’s injuries were related to his professional practice as a full-time football player, at the same time ruling out hypotheses linked to the vaccine. As a reminder, vaccination was made compulsory by the French Football Federation from July 2021.

François-Xavier Fumu Tamuzo was unable to respond to us within the time limit for the article to appear. But his lawyer, Maître Éric Lanzarone gives his feelings: “We are criticized for not having given sufficient information to make the link between pathologies and the vaccine probable. It’s the snake that bites its own tail. This is a rejection that is very questionable.

To try to establish this link or to rule out the hypothesis, François-Xavier Fumu Tamuzo and his lawyers asked to benefit from medical expertise. Request rejected. And the former U20 international’s questions remain unanswered.

He just wants to get the truth about what happened to him.

“The difficulty in this issue which affects the entire world of football is the ability to isolate what relates to the professional profession and what relates to a pathology linked to the vaccine”says the lawyer at the bar. “What the FFF says and which is retained by the judge, is to say that these are the professional risks of suffering from knee pain and the Achilles tendon. But, the dazzling hyper-inflammation of François’ tendons- Xavier is also a clue which suggests that it is not his job which caused these repeated injuries.”

The player and his lawyers”will appeal to the Court of Appeal to challenge the decision rendered by the judge and obtain this expertise“.
