“You can bet on absolutely all sports, even darts, billiards… For people who develop problematic behavior, the risk is that there are opportunities to bet absolutely all the time, even on things without much at stake”, explains Camille Robert, co-secretary general of the French-speaking Group for the Study of Addictions.

The online offering, including “live betting” (bets during a match), has grown enormously, despite the entry into force of the new federal law on gambling in 2019.
