Strasbourg: Habib Diarra out three weeks!
Victim of a sprained ankle with Senegal, during the international break in June, Habib Diarra will have to observe three weeks of rest, announces the newspaper The Team.

The images left us fearing the worst. During a match between the Senegal and the Mauritania (1-0), on behalf of the qualifications for the 2026 World Cup, Habib Diarra was the victim of a (very) nasty tackle from the Mauritanian Khadim Diaw. The ankle was affected and concern grew about the physical state of the Strasbourg midfielder. In the end, he “only” suffers from ankle sprainmaking it unavailable for three weeks.

According to the newspaper The Teamhe should be available for his resumption date with Strasbourg. If his partners resume training on June 24, Diarra will benefit from a few additional days of rest, given that he was in the selection. The sports daily also discusses the future of the midfielder, who could leave theAlsace this summer. Several clubs have already taken steps to afford the services of the 20-year-old player. Last year, he was notably close to joining the RC Lenswhich ultimately fell back on Andy Diouf.

This season, with Racing, the Senegalese international (three caps) played 35 matches, in all competitions, for four goals and two assists.
