If there’s one podcast that’s getting attention in the hockey world, it’s the one from the guys from Spittin’ Chiclets. After all, they’re entertaining and it seems they like hockey.

They are also capable of releasing scoops and denouncing situations. #MikeBabcock

There are a lot of hockey fans who know who the guys on the podcast are and that means that publicly, when we see one or more of the hosts, it brings the atmosphere to the place.

And that’s what happened Saturday night, when Ryan Whitney and Paul Bissonnette showed up at the Oilers arena on the sidelines of Game 4 of the Stanley Cup final.

During a break, the Oilers showed footage of Whitney when he played in Edmonton. The crowd applauded him.

He was there (with a Ryan Nugent-Hopkins jersey) alongside Paul Bissonnette, a guy who is quite capable of attracting attention. The latter also had an Oilers jersey… which took off once the cameras were focused on him.

As we can see, he had fun.

What caught most of the attention was the way Biz Nasty celebrated. As seen in the video to this effect, he grabbed the two supporters in front of him by the neck to celebrate with them.

He had little strangled the guys while he was shirtless. However, he did it without malice, obviously. The guy just wanted to party.

Whitney was much calmer compared to Bissonnette, but he still seemed happy to be there. He tried to energize the crowd during an important match for his former club.

Will we see them again? To be continued.
