THE Borussia Dortmund is making its little revolution. After a very rich season, marked by an epic run to the Champions League final, the Ruhr club completely changed its organization chart, to everyone’s surprise. Edin Terzic, great architect of BvB’s European journey, chose to leave the club a few days ago. He will be replaced by Nuri Sahin.
Borussia Dortmund has indeed confirmed the arrival on its bench of Nuri Sahin, via an official press release published on its media this Friday. “ Nuri Sahin (35) will be the new BVB coach. This is the result of discussions that Borussia Dortmund sporting director Lars Ricken and sporting director Sebastian Kehl had this Friday with Sahin. The Lüdenscheid native has signed a contract valid until June 30, 2027 and will succeed Edin Terzic (41), who previously left BVB at his own request“, we can read.
Dortmund bet Sahin
By securing the services of Sahin, Dortmund is banking on a young, ambitious technician who has the advantage of knowing the club environment perfectly after having been a major player during his first life as a footballer. The former Turkish international wore the yellow jersey between 2005 and 2011, then between 2013 and 2018.
