The CAF Women’s Champions League opens this Saturday, November 9 in El Jadida with the highly anticipated first appearance of AS FAR, the only Moroccan representative, who will face the Senegalese ‘Aigles de la Médina’.
The kickoff of this 4th edition of the CAF Women’s LoC will therefore be given this Saturday at the El Abdi stadium in El Jadida, with two matches for Group A.
The first opposition will see the entry into the running of AS FAR, favorite for this opposition, and aims to repeat the feat of 2022 when it won the title. Opposite, the Senegalese team is participating for the first time at this stage of the competition.
A little earlier, TP Mazembe (DRC) will cross swords with the University of Western Cape of South Africa. For their second participation, the Congolese women are also favorites, and will benefit from the support of Moroccan supporters, in particular with Lamia Boumehdi, the national coach, at their head.
