DAZN journalist Ambre Godillon received a projectile in the face during the match between Marseille and Auxerre, lost by OM on Friday evening (3-1) at the Vélodrome. Shortly before half-time, the former PSG TV presenter was the victim of a projectile which hit her under the eye, while OM was trailing 3-0 by AJA. The Vélodrome announcer asked the public to stop throwing objects.
Questioned at the end of the meeting by her colleague Smaïl Bouabdellah, the journalist explained that she had received “a projectile in the face”. “I don’t really know what to say. A little shocked by that,” she added. OM apologized to the journalist as well as to DAZN, an OM spokesperson then told the press.
The Marseille club is still trying this evening to clarify the circumstances of the incident and a priori rules out the possibility of a deliberate act.
“Thank you for all your messages of extreme kindness. I don’t really know what to say actually, other than that it’s okay and that I’m doing well,” concluded Ambre Godillon in a message posted on X.
Messages of support are flooding into the social network, starting with the DAZN France channel, Séverine Parlakou and even accounts linked to PSG.
