ASVEL has made another misstep in the Euroleague. This Friday, Mbaye Ndiaye and his partners were narrowly beaten by Fenerbahçe (73-77) at the LDLC Arena.

Recently, the Villeurbannais have experienced numerous poor performances. ASVEL no longer manages to win even at home, it was beaten again by the Turks of Fener. However, everything was in order in this meeting for ASVEL, with its three-point lead at the break as proof (36-31).

The second half was very balanced, the Turks even reducing the score to one point in the third quarter (52-51). It was in the last quarter that Ndiaye and his team were overwhelmed by Fener who turned the situation around to win the match by four points difference (73-77). This constitutes ASVEL’s second consecutive loss in the Euroleague after last week’s defeat against Panatinaikos.

The Villeurbannais will go to the Astroballe this Sunday to face as part of Betclic ELITE, with the aim of returning to victory and regaining their confidence.
