Amine Adli has extended his contract with Bayer Leverkusen until 2028, the German club announced in a press release this Friday, November 8.
The German champions have announced a new contract until 2028 for the 24-year-old attacking midfielder, who is currently out due to a fractured fibula.
“Amine’s impact on our game is huge, but he has also been an important factor in Bayer 04’s success in the dressing room. We are delighted to be able to continue to count on his sporting and human qualities in the future”said Bayer 04 general director of sports Simon Rolfes.
For his part, the Moroccan international who joined Leverkusen from French team Toulouse in the summer of 2021, commented:“We have a special bond in the locker room, on the field and with our fans. My expectations were more than met and I will do everything I can to ensure we continue to have good times and win titles here in the future. I am proud to wear the jersey of this club.”
In total, Adli has scored 21 goals and provided 22 assists in 126 matches for Bayer Leverkusen. Injured, the Lion of the Atlas will have to miss the next gathering of the national team on the sidelines of the matches against Gabon and Lesotho, as part of the CAN 2025 qualifiers.
