According to l'Equipe, Stade Brestois could play its first Champions League knockout matches at the Stade de France in February. This hypothesis depends on several factors. Breton wave of 80,000 people?
Which raises the question of the enclosure to accommodate the people of Brest. UEFA imposes higher standards at this stage of the competition. This would lead to financial losses, despite the income generated by their current performances (€7.05 million). Roazhon Park, in Rennes, could be an alternative, but it would also require adjustments. The Stade de France option is therefore gaining momentum. Already used by Lille in 2005-2006, this approved and spacious stadium could accommodate Breton supporters in large numbers. However, filling its 80,000 places would be crucial to guarantee profitability. Breton wave in sight at the Stade de France for the rest of the Champions League?
