After conquering the continent, Senegalese beach soccer, 8 times African champion, is often contacted by other African countries who want to benefit from its experience. We can cite, among others, Morocco, Guinea and Mauritania. Mourabitounes, also a revelation of the last Can, and who benefited from the expertise of Ibrahima Ndiaye Chita, precursor of beach in Senegal (see our edition of yesterday).

But this attention is no longer limited to the level of the National Team. Senegalese clubs are also targeted. Like the Ngor Almadies beach soccer team which announces a partnership with a club from Benin, Ace Finance. Information from its president, Mamadou Diallo, whose club has signed an agreement with the Beninese team.

This is how the leaders then met the local authorities (Ngor town hall) and the leaders of the Senegalese Football Federation. The objective, according to representatives of As Finance of Benin, is to establish relations with Ngor Almadies and benefit from the Senegalese experience in beach football. A desire which should be realized in the medium term by the organization of a sub-regional tournament in Dakar.

As a reminder, for 4 years, Ngor Almadies has dominated Senegalese beach soccer. The team of President Mamadou Diallo, who achieved the Cup-Championship double this season, has 5 internationals in the team which has just won the “Egypt 2024” Can.

Former Lions coach, Mamadou Diallo took the opportunity to congratulate, in front of his guests, the teammates of Al Seyni Ndiaye who won their 8th Can. A feat which allowed the African champions to return to the Top 10 of the world beach soccer rankings.
