Bagnaia wins and pushes back the deadline
Francesco Bagnaia pushes back the deadline for Jorge Martin’s title. The two protagonists of this season engaged in an extraordinary battle during the first three laps before Martin left the field open to Bagnaia to manage his race and the championship.
In third place, we find Bastianini who takes several points from Marc Marquez, victim of a fall.
Fabio Quartararo had a good race despite worn tires, finishing in sixth place behind Alex Marquez and Pedro Acosta.
Marquez moves up to 13th place
Marc Marquez moved up to 13th position. This allows for total equality between Bastianini and him.
Martin misses himself again
Jorge Martin makes another mistake in turn 4 but stays on his two wheels.
Martin’s mistake
Jorge Martin made a mistake in turn 9. He came a little too hard but didn’t let go of the brakes and preferred to widen out to avoid the crash. The gap, however, increased to 2.2 seconds.
The Martinator returns to Bagnaia
Bagnaia is wasting time. Maybe because of the different rubbers. Jorge Martin regained 6 tenths on the 15th lap.
Bagnaia manages his lead
Leaders are in management. Bagnaia manages his lead of 2 seconds in the standings while Martin manages his lead in the drivers’ championship. A lead of 24 points if the ranking remains the same.
Zarco loses two positions
In turn 1, Johann Zarco was overtaken by Marco Bezzecchi and Augusto Fernandez. He now finds himself 11th.
Bezzecchi in fight with Zarco
Marco Bezzecchi overtakes Johann Zarco on the two straights but misses his braking twice, which allows Zarco to pass again each time. For the moment, the Frenchman maintains his 9th place even if Bezzecchi and Fernandez are very pressing.
Bagnaia and Martin widen the gap
Bagnaia increases his lead over Martin with a 1.6 second gap but the Pramac driver also increases the gap to Bastianini with 5.5 seconds due to an error in turn 15. The Italian has more than one second ahead of Alex Marquez and Acosta.
Acosta puts pressure on Alex Marquez
Pedro Acosta is putting pressure on Alex Marquez in order to get 4th place. Quartararo is behind but starting to lose ground.
The right operation for Bastianini?
For third place overall, Enea Bastianini performed well. With a podium and Marquez out of points, he would regain 16 pts in the drivers’ standings.
Fall of Marc Marquez
Marc Marquez crashed in turn 15. The Catalan lost the front and found himself in the gravel but restarted in 17th position behind Morbidelli.
Chute de Morbidelli
Franco Morbidelli also crashes in turn 9, the same as Mir and Bagnaia yesterday. He leaves quickly.
Mir Kick
Joan Mir falls once again, in turn 9. He can nevertheless restart.
Bastianini takes the advantage
Bastianini has just overtaken Franco Morbidelli for 4th place. Just behind, we find Alex Marquez, Pedro Acosta and Fabio Quartararo.
Bagnaia improves again
Pecco Bagnaia has just achieved the best lap once again. 1:59.118 this time and almost a second ahead of Jorge Martin.
Bagnaia achieves the best lap
Francesco Bagnaia sets the fastest lap in the race and takes a few meters ahead. Jorge Martin seems to have calmed down. Indeed, it is up to him to manage the lead for the title. The Italian doesn’t have much left to lose. However, if Bagnaia wins ahead of Martin, it is 24 points behind and if it is the other way around, Martin is 34 points ahead.
Mark always in ambush
Marc Marquez still follows Martin and Bagnaia in third position. He remains in ambush to possibly take advantage of a collision between the two pilots.
Bagnaia regains the lead
Pecco regains the lead of the race at turn 15 thanks to excellent braking. Both made an exceptional start to the Grand Prix.
Martin takes the lead
Jorge Martin regains the lead at turn 14 by taking the inside thanks to a different trajectory.
Between Bagnaia and Martin, there is an intense fight
Fierce fight between Martin and Bagnaia. The two drivers have only been overtaking each other since the end of the first lap. Cross and uncross. It’s phenomenal!
Martin tries to pass Bagnaia
In the second sector, Jorge Martin tries to take the inside on Bagnaia but the Italian breaks away and regains the lead.

start of the race
What a departure from Bagnaia!
Here we go a second time! Pecco Bagnaia makes an excellent start but Martin is stuck to his heels. Marc Marquez moves up from 5th place to 4th place ahead of Morbidelli.
Miller is fine!
Jack Miller is fine. No serious injuries noted. He was taken to the circuit medical center for further examination. We even see it on TV.
Binder at the stands
Brad Binder entered the pits due to technical problems on his second bike. Zarco for his part is well on the grid. Information error on the part of MotoGP.
Used tires for Binder and Fabio
Binder and Quartararo had to use their first motorbike, as the other motorbike did not return to the box due to the fall. New tires could not be delivered. So these are worn tires on their Motorcycle.
Zarco left the pitlane
Johann Zarco went out beyond the 60 seconds allotted, he will have to start from the pitlane. He was 11th on the starting grid. What a mistake from LCR Honda.
Quick departure procedure
The pitlane will open at 8:20 a.m. French time. The drivers will have one minute to exit the pits and perform their sighting lap and position themselves on the starting grid. A new warm-up lap will then be carried out and it will be a second start.
Miller an ambulance
Jack Miller is in the ambulance. We did not have any images showing that he was well even though the race direction clarified that he was conscious.
The race will restart for 19 laps
The race will resume for 19 laps with the initial positions on the starting grid.
The race will resume
The race will be restarted with the initial starting grid because three laps were not completed. Binder and Quartararo will leave with the second motorcycle. We’re still waiting to hear from Jack Miller.
Red flag!
Management raises the red flag. All the drivers are conscious but Jack Miller fell on the rear wheel of Fabio Quartararo. Which also destabilized Binder, who made a sun on the track, thrown from his motorcycle. He’s fine, Quartararo is limping. Miller is still at the edge of the turn, on the tarmac, surrounded by marshals and doctors.

start of the race
Bagnaia keeps the lead of the race
Here we go! A sensational start with Martin going in front but Bagnaia makes contact by putting his leg in front of the Pramac. Martin goes out of the way, which allows Bagnaia to cross at T1. Just behind, in the same corner, a huge crash took place between Miller, Binder and Quartararo.
Different tire choices between Martin and Bagnaia
Barcelona should replace Valencia
Due to flooding in the Valencia region, the Grand Prix scheduled in two weeks has been canceled. Several hypotheses were mentioned: Portimao in Portugal, Losail in Qatar in three weeks, Barcelona or Jerez on the planned dates. Finally, the director of Dorna put forward the idea of going to Barcelona on the scheduled dates. Simplest idea for ticketed spectators and the paddock.
Bagnaia in pole position
Like yesterday, Francesco Bagnaia will start in pole position but he will have to hold off Martin who always makes great starts. Alex Marquez will start from 3rd position. On the second row, three other Ducatis: Franco Morbidelli, Marc Marquez and Enea Bastianini. Performing yesterday with an 8th place on the grid and a 5th place in the sprint race, Quartararo will try everything to achieve a similar performance or even better.
Martin, better management of emotions and coronation in sight
Francesco Bagnaia having crashed during the sprint race this Saturday in Malaysia, Championship leader Jorge Martin, winner, does not…
A race for the title
With Pecco Bagnaia’s fall during the sprint race yesterday, Jorge Martin now has a 29-point lead. If he wins the race and Bagnaia finishes no better than 3rd, the Martinator wins the world championship. But watch out for slacking off and making mistakes under pressure.
