NCAA: a 254-yard, 5-touchdown game for Ole Miss receiver Jordan Watkins

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Ole Miss wide receiver Jordan Watkins produced one of the most memorable performances in recent NCAA history Saturday in a 63-31 win over Arkansas.

The 22-year-old, a senior with the Rebels, totaled no less than 254 receiving yards, and no less than five catches for touchdowns.

Watkins’ five receiving touchdowns tie an SEC conference mark that had belonged to Tennessee’s Jalin Hyatt since 2022.

In all of American college football, Watkins is only the seventh receiver since 1996 to have a performance of five touchdowns and more than 250 receiving yards.

His quarterback Jaxon Dart eclipsed Ole Miss marks for air yards and touchdowns, surpassing Matt Corral and Eli Manning

Dart finished his most prolific afternoon with 515 passing yards, as well as six touchdowns.

The Rebels ultimately racked up 694 offensive yards, and scored touchdowns on seven of their nine possessions in the game.
