The 2024 World Endurance Championship season comes to an end this Saturday with the 8 Hours of Bahrain. This Saturday in Sakhir, it is the No. 8 Toyota which will start from pole position thanks to the performance of Brendon Hartley during the Hyperpole. The Japanese manufacturer will monopolize the first row on the starting grid with the No. 7 in second position.
The No. 51 Ferrari and the No. 99 Proton Competition customer Porsche, in which Julien Andlauer will be the starter, will start from the second row. It will be particularly important to follow the takeoff from the third row since we will find two cars fighting for the Drivers’ title: the #50 Ferrari and the #6 Porsche.
On the French side, the Alpine will start from 14th and 17th places. On the Peugeot side, the two 9x8s will start 15th and 18th.
In GT3, the first row is locked by the two McLarens from the United Autosports team. The second row will be formed by the No. 55 Ferrari of Vista AF Corse and the No. 85 Lamborghini of the Iron Dames.
The start of the 8 Hours of Bahrain will be at 12:00 p.m. (French time).
