Titled in 2022, Holger Rune (ATP 13) reached the final four of the Masters 1000 at -Bercy for a second time.

The Dane, who will face Alexander Zverev (ATP 3) on Saturday for a place in the final, is thus relaunching himself in the race to qualify for the ATP Masters in Turin (November 10-17).

Holger Rune won 6-4 4-6 7-5 Friday in the quarter-final against Alex De Minaur (ATP 10). He was able to keep his calm after seeing his opponent erase a first break in the third set to get back to 3-3. He seized the opponent’s service one last time at 5-5 before concluding with a blank service game.

The 21-year-old Dane, who is aiming for a second participation in the ATP Finals after 2022, remains virtually 13th in the Race. But he can still hope to climb to 10th place in the qualifying rankings for the ATP Masters on Monday. He also prevented Alex De Minaur, 8th in the 2024 ranking, from climbing to 6th position and almost validating his ticket for these ATP Finals.
