Three days after their stunning victory (4-2) against USL Dunkerque at home, the Merlus will try to continue this Friday 1is November (8 p.m.) in Clermont. Irregular away from home since the start of the season with two victories in six matches, Olivier Pantaloni’s men have the opportunity to improve their record against a Clermont team in transition. Indeed, the Puy-de-Dôme club recently changed coaches and Laurent Batlles will play his first match on the CF63 bench.

In his starting lineup, Olivier Pantaloni made several changes compared to the Dunkirk reception. Laporte, Talbi, James, Katséris, Makengo and Tosin find a starting place. For Julien Laporte, this first start of the season will allow him to play against his former club. It’s a first at kick-off also for Jean-Victor Makengo. Note that Lorient will evolve into 3-4-3.
