Luc-la-Primaube. The town hall and the basketball club linked by an agreement of objectives and means

The Luc-Primaube basketball club plays an essential role in promoting physical and sporting activity within the municipality of Luc-la-Primaube.

Since its creation, it has been committed to providing opportunities for personal fulfillment and development through sports practice while promoting social cohesion and public health.

To guarantee the continuity of its actions and the development of its projects, the club will benefit from a municipal subsidy which will help to cover part of the expenses linked to its activities, in particular the costs of organizing sporting events, the costs of equipment and operation and the cost linked to the training of supervisors.

Last Wednesday, Mayor Jean-Philippe Sadoul, accompanied by a few elected officials, presented to Véronique Romulus, president of the Luc Primaube basketball club, the agreement of objectives and means between the municipality and LPB which defines the reciprocal commitments of the two parties as well as the objectives to be achieved for the coming year.

It constitutes a tool for transparency and monitoring of actions carried out by the association, while guaranteeing rigorous management of public funds. This multi-year agreement, which details the commitments of each of the two parties, covers from July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2027.

In 2023, the support provided by the community to the LPB is estimated at €19,897.71 for the provision of sports equipment and €6,300 in operating subsidies.

For the year 2024, the annual operating subsidy will be in the amount of €6,300.

Véronique Romulus and Jean-Philippe Sadoul then signed this multi-year agreement of objectives and means.
