Mike Maignan should be present from the first day of the Blues rally, scheduled for Wednesday May 29. According to The Team And The Parisian the former Lille player was authorized by AC Milan to go there, while a mini-tour of the Lombard club was planned in Australia.
Giroud and Hernandez not released
The Blues goalkeeper did not play AC Milan’s last match, due to a finger injury a few weeks before Euro 2024 (from June 14 to July 14). The examinations proved reassuring and his participation in the European competition was not called into question.
On the other hand, his teammates Olivier Giroud and Thé Hernandez will arrive later. The latter were not released and will participate in the promotional tour of the Lombard team, which finished in second place in Serie A, behind Inter Milan, Italian champions.
