Match: PSG announces three absentees, PSV one more unexpected package

On the eve of the meeting between the two clubs, PSG and PSV do not have the same concerns: sees its infirmary empty while that of Eindhoven continues to fill up with one more unexpected package. Randal Kolo Muani seems indeed fit, however.

Poster for the third day of the Champions League, PSG/PSV will pit two teams against each other with very different dynamics in terms of injuries. While Paris is getting better and even seeing its affected players move closer to the field, the Dutch have been hitting one after another in recent days. Possibly absent, Randal First Class seems to be doing better since he trained with his partners this Monday morning and is not included in the club’s medical update.

On the eve of facing PSV, PSG therefore communicated a list of three packages which are those expected at each match for a few more weeks: “Presnel Kimpembe has resumed training sessions with the collective. Lucas Hernandez continues its recovery protocol. `Gonçalo Ramos continues his rehabilitation. » According to today’s press, Lucas Hernandez could also play again with PSG even before the end of the calendar year since his rehabilitation is going perfectly well.

Another package for PSV!

On the PSV side, however, it is very complicated and two starting players this Saturday in Alkmaar will miss the match on the lawn of the Parc des Princes. The Eindhoven club had already announced this Sunday the withdrawal of its midfielder Jerdy Schouten but an unpleasant surprise crept in this Monday with the announcement of the group which will travel to Paris over the next few hours, training at the Park being planned for the afternoon.

Already without Sergiño Dest who is absent for a long time, PSV is deprived of another right-back in the person of Rick Karsdorp. This unforeseen absence of the Dutch international deprives coach Peter Bosz of a midfield option since Karsdorp, if he had played, would have allowed Mauro Junior to move up a notch and play in the middle instead of Schouten or Veerman, the two major absentees from the midfield. It is now certain that Mauro Junior will play in defense given the absences.

The only good news for PSV is the return to the group of young central defender Adamo Nagalo.
