Following the “Diarra” judgment, FIFA will initiate a dialogue regarding article 17 of the Regulations on the Status and Transfer of Players

As a preamble, the governing body of world football has already invited several major players such as the European Club Association, FIFPRO and the World Leagues Association to examine the consequences of the judgment rendered by the Court of Justice of the European Union in the Diarra affair.

Still as part of this consultation process, it has also set up a platform to allow all parties concerned (whether groups or individuals) to share their thoughts by to November 15, 2024.
