It is once again Lorenzo Savadori who will replace Miguel Oliveira at the Australian GP, the Italian returning to a track he has not visited since 2018. The Italian recalled that it is a ‘fantastic’ track that he loves.
Before sharing his expectations for the race, Savadori once again sent his best wishes to Oliveira: ‘Above all, I hope Miguel continues to recover quickly.’
Then, he recalled the great absence on the track: ‘For me – I haven’t raced in Australia since 2018, when I was competing with Aprilia in the World Superbike Championship. I really like the track and I can’t wait to try our Aprilia RS-GP on this fantastic circuit.’
And he revealed his desire to continue working on the development of RS-GP: ‘Of course we have to continue our work on developing the 2025 bike and so at Phillip Island, just like at Motegi, we will try different solutions. I can’t wait to return to this track and work again with the Trackhouse Racing MotoGP team.
