In Group 3, Germany won 1-0 in Munich against the Netherlands and qualified for the quarter-finals of the competition, scheduled for the end of March.

The German goal was scored by Jamie Leweling (64th), who made his debut for the national team at the age of 23. With 10 points on the clock, the German team is guaranteed to finish in one of the first two places in its group, which also includes the Netherlands (5 pts), Hungary (5 pts) and Bosnia-Hergovina (1 pt).
