Kyshawn George is on his way to earning his place in the NBA. The 20-year-old Valaisan shone during Washington’s 2nd preparation match.
George actually scored 14 points on 5 of 6 shooting during the Wizards’ 117-94 loss to the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden. Coming off the bench, he benefited from 21 minutes of playing time, as in the first preseason meeting lost 125-98 to Toronto.

Frazier’s Praise
Against the Knicks, George also grabbed 4 rebounds, made 3 blocks and stole 1 ball. His performance was praised by Walt Frazier, former Knicks glory, who told MSG that “this boy was really very impressive.”
During the last draft, George was selected in 24th position by the Knicks before being sold to Washington. The Wizards will open their season on October 24 with the arrival of Boston, the defending champion. Everything indicates that George will have the privilege of playing this meeting.
