Rest for Lukaku and De Bruyne
Lukaku wants to train in Naples, De Bruyne suffers from an injury. KDB will not be there in November either. His body, meanwhile, has been simmering for several years. It is no coincidence that players like Lukaku and KDB, aged over 30, need to rest more.
“The coach has already given his explanation on this matter. I am not here to make these choices, there is a coach for that. Players have their problems and their reasons. We all play a lot of matches. In Frankfurt we play the same number of matches as the other teams,” Theate told RTL Sports.
It’s not Theate’s problem
Theate doesn’t care much about it. “As the years go by, the body needs more time to recover. This is why the number of matches is the subject of debate in the football world. Romelu and Kevin have their reasons, the coach too. It’s not my problem,” concluded the defender quite astonishingly.
