Even if it is only a preparation match, history will remember that LeBron James et Bronny James played together, in the Lakers jersey, and that it was Sunday October 6, Bronny’s 20th birthday, during the match against the Suns at the Acrisure Arena in Palm Springs. It was at the start of the 2nd quarter that JJ Redick decided to throw Bronny alongside his father, and this historic first lasted a little over four minutes.

A great birthday gift!

No doubt stressed from playing alongside his father, Bronny will lose two balls in his first two possessions, and he will never really manage to get into his match. Upon arrival, 3 rebounds, but 4 lost balls and 0 on 1 on shots in 13 minutes. After two games, he is 1 out of 7 on shots.

“It’s surreal. They play 2-on-2 with pick-and-roll in training. It will be great when they are on the field together. I can’t wait to see this. I am very honored to be part of history” JJ Redick said this week. Same story after the meeting: “I’m thrilled to be able to be a part of this. It’s cool as a basketball fan. I think it’s a testament to LeBron’s longevity, but also his competitive endurance, that he’s still able to do this after 22 years. »

The LeBron-Davis duo in good shape

Beyond the event, we will still remember that the Suns won 118-114 against the Lakers despite 17 points, 8 rebounds and 3 assists from Anthony Davis, and 19 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 blocks from LeBron James.

After allowing the Lakers to reach the break with a 12-point lead (69-57), the two Olympic champions will remain seated throughout the second half.

On the Phoenix side, it was the substitutes who turned the match around at the end of the match while the “Big Three” did not have the compass in their eye at 9 out of 29 on shots, including 3 out of 10 for Kevin Durant and 4 out of 12 for Devin Booker, badly blocked by LeBron James. A LeBron moved to have shared the ball with his son…
