Hicham Dguig will receive a bonus of 1 million dirhams instead of a bonus of 600,000 dirhams previously set by the FRMF. This will offer a sum of 500,000 dirhams to the players of the Moroccan team, in order to encourage them to continue to obtain positive results during the next competitions at the Arab and continental levels.

The Moroccan futsal selection was eliminated in the quarter-finals of the World Cup by losing to Brazil (1-3), at the Universal Sports Complex in Bukhara. She had reached this same stage of the competition during the previous edition. Hicham Dguig’s men validated their ticket for the quarter-finals after beating Iran in the round of 16.

Soufiane El Mesrar and his teammates claimed two victories in the group stage against Panama and Tajikistan, but suffered a defeat against Portugal, before falling to Brazil by 3 goals to 1 in the quarter-final.
