The Spaniard Cristofer Clemente Mora winner in the scratch

Nothing surprising so far, the American having a gargantuan track record – 3 times winner of the UTMB Mont-Blanc (2019, 2021 and 2023), 2 times winner of the Western States (2018 and 2023), 3 times winner of the Hardrock 100 (2018, 2022 and 2024), 1 time winner of the Grand Raid (2022). On the other hand, Dauwalter came very close to winning in the scratch category.

Indeed, thanks to a great comeback, the 39-year-old trail runner almost overtook the first man, the Spaniard Cristofer Clemente Mora, double vice-world trail champion (2017 and 2018), winner in 21h22’14 ”. Only 13 minutes late for the American, 2nd in the scratch.
