This Monday 6 mi marchhave the first day in Rose Tadej Pogacar (UAE Team Emirates), but also the first opportunity for the sprinters to express themselves. At the end of a 3rd stage as flat as a hand but much livelier than expected, the numerous cars present on this 107th Tour of Italy obviously did not miss this chance… But the Slovenian did not come far from depriving them of it by attacking in the final with Geraint Thomas, before being caught again just 300 meters from the finish. We therefore witnessed a royal sprint at Fossano, won by Tim Merlier !

The leader of the general Tadej Pogacar was not content to put on a show in the finale and allowed himself the luxury of picking up 2″ bonuses along the way, now ahead of Geraint Thomas 46″ overall.
