The national Cycling team is taking part in the African Road Racing Championship, scheduled for October 9-13 in the town of Eldoret, Kenya (north of Nairobi).
For men, the national team is made up of Achraf Ed Doghmy, Adil El Arbaoui, Mouhcine El Kouraji, El Houçaine Sabbahi, Driss El Alouani and Ibrahim Sabbahi.
Among the juniors, the national colors will be defended by Marouane Kharbouchi, Yassine Mahah, Mohamed Abdallaoui and Aymane Aït El Karma.
Salma Hariri, Malika Ben Allal and Chaimae Zakraoui represent Morocco on the women’s side.
During this continental competition, the national elements will evolve under the leadership of the national executive, Abdelaati Saadoun, assisted by Meriem Rahmouni.
The African Road Running Championship competitions will take place this year in the town of Eldoret located at an altitude of more than 2500 m. The time trials will take place on Wednesday October 9, while the mixed relay time trial is scheduled for Thursday October 10.
The competitions of this championship will end with individual races for all categories on October 11, 12 and 13.
The Royal Moroccan Cycling Federation organized a two-week preparation course in the city of Ifrane in anticipation of this important continental event.
