Walid Regragui revealed, this Thursday, October 3, the list of players summoned for the double confrontation against the Central African Republic, scheduled for Saturday October 12 and Tuesday October 15, 2024 at the Stade d’Honneur in Oujda, for the 3rd and 4th days of the CAN 2025 qualifiers. This list is marked by the arrival of Osame Sahraoui.

Walid Regragui called on new faces who will take their first steps with the Moroccan selection. In addition to Ousame Sahraoui who changed his sporting nationality, choosing to represent Morocco at the expense of Norway, the coach of the Atlas Lions decided to summon Jamal Harkass from Wydad de Casablanca, Abdelhamid Ait Boudlal from Stade Rennais and Reda Belahyana who plays for Hellas Verona in Italy.

This list is also marked by the absence of Hakim Ziyech and Brahim Diaz, both injured, while Amine Harit still does not seem to convince the coach and finds himself once again sidelined.

Note that within the framework of these qualifiers, Morocco – already qualified as the organizing country – occupies the head of group B with 6 points, thanks to two victories against Gabon (4-1) and Lesotho (1 -0). It is followed by the Central African Republic and Gabon tied with 3 points.
