Encore dangerous overtaking in Seine-et-Marne, which caused a bodily accident of traffic. It occurred on Tuesday 1is October 2024, around 11:45 p.m., on the RD 471near Coubert.
An individual on board a Golf undertook to overtake a truck. He was unable to fall back in time and hit from the front a Renault Kangoo which was traveling in the direction of Gretz-Armainvilliers.
After the collision, the offending motorist fled through the woods. Despite the immediate engagement of a “driver-dog” pair from the dog specialty of the departmental fire and rescue service, and a remote pilot dronehe was not found.
A drone used to try to find the driver
The other driver found himself incarcerated in his car, below the road. He is a 53-year-old man, living in Clichy, in Hauts-de-Seine. Medically treated on site, he was evacuated to the hospital center from Melun. The fifty-year-old, who suffers from pain caused by seat beltin the chest and throat, left the hospital on the morning of October 2.
